My name is Sara and I am from Sterling, Massachusetts. I am a freshman here at UNE in the Dental Hygiene program. I am so excited to be living on such a beautiful campus, and can’t wait to learn so much here being in one of the best hygiene programs that there is. I attended a vocational high school the past four years, and was in the dental assisting program. I am thankful to have gotten to be apart of that program because it was able to give me a background about the dental field and made me realize that I would like to study more about it and what it has offer. I hope to become a full-time dental hygienist once I graduate here at UNE, and I am happy that the campus supplies me with all the resources I need to help me to do so. Some of my favorite things to do in my free time are taking runs and walks with my dog, spending time with my family and close friends, and going to the beach. I also love writing, even though I am not the best at it. Writing really seems to help get my brain thinking, and for me writing seems to be a stress reliever.
